I'm a self taught artist, from a family with a lot of creative talents. Primarily artists and musicians. I have no formal education, yet I excel at everything I attempt. Art has defined my life.
My Mother was a leading influence in my artistic endeavors. She always supported me and inspired me with her own talents. She took me to all the art shows and galleries and taught me the beauty of art. I fell in love with art at a young age.
My family has a wide range of creative talents. Many are musically gifted, and others excel in the visual arts. And I daresay we all dabble in all of it. My sister, Moria also does traditional art, focusing on collage styles. My Mother, Ginny makes handmade crafts, religious dolls, necklaces and traditional paintings. My younger brother is in the USCG, however his talents lay in music. He is skilled with electric, acoustic and bass guitars and formerly played the snare in his school's marching band. My father taught him to play the guitar as he taught himself while he was in the Navy Reserve.
I fell in love with an artist, Kevin, whom I met on the artist social site, deviantART. Perhaps our two sons will find creative talents as well.
There are many influences on my art and several artists that have inspired me through out my life. I wish to network with other artists, so please, feel free to add me to your social networks and I will do likewise.
